There is a medicine only the wild can give. Standing among wild horses, I feel my breath deepen and my spirit remember what freedom truly feels like. Their presence calms the storms within, reminding us we are not separate from this earth – we are made of it.
In a world that rushes past the quiet medicine of wild places, these moments remind me that this ancient way of caring for ourselves still matters. When your heart hurts, the wild heals.
Even when the chaos of the world takes over, the wild remains. It is not a luxury, but a necessity for our souls to remember who we are. We were never meant to discard wild horses and wild places. We were meant to honor them for the gifts they give.
